Too bad it looks like you aren't headed to Wisconsin - The House on the Rock (thehouseontherock.com) is freakishly entertaining. We went on our trip from Cleveland to Mt. Rushmore. My mom was totally freaked out, but she can't handle parking garages! I thought it was fascinating. We hit the corn palace on that trip too. That was neat!
ReplyDeleteJust checked out your map more closely...please give our best to missou and the griz but id skip the stadeium...not much to see there....ha....no really great places to eat. But we miss the place horribly. There used to be a great hotel close to where 91 crosses 93 or the exit just before that. Best food we could suggest would be the mexican restaurant attached to a bar called the ritz. There is a steak house on the highway just after you get over 4th of july pass that has the best steks ever served....i'll get more on that from lee....theres some sort of hitch to eating there like the longest line ever....the kids might like the bison range ....wildlife up close and personal. And there are strange little places in missoula...like the boone and crockett headquarters....i so miss the west!!! Enjoy!
